Retreat with us in the Catskills this Fall

We love recharging in nature.

We are going to settle into fall with a grounding long weekend in the Great Northern Catskills. We'll stay in Windham, NY where we will connect with nature, yoga, sound bath, hiking, fine eating & relaxation from Friday, November 10 until Sunday, November 12. We are looking forward to breathing in the crisp autumn air amongst the best company. 

Your hosts

Mel & Eric have prepared a grounding weekend to connect in the woods.  Lodging is in Windham, NY. 

What to expect

Friday:

  • flexible check in, afternoon walk, games, hot tub, opening ceremony, yoga, dinner by private chef,  s'mores, sound bath

 

Saturday:

  • morning yoga, breakfast by private chef, hike, guided meditation, mindful craft, gourmet dinner by private chef, dessert, hot tub, sound bath


Sunday:

  • morning yoga, breakfast by private che & departure

The woods are calling.

We are excited to deepen our connection & settle into fall with our community. We love nature in all seasons. Retreating in the woods will offer the grounding, slow & intentional weekend we crave before the holiday buzz picks up. We will leave the sense of urgency behind & offer a weekend of patience while we settle into the quiet sounds upstate NY. You can expect opportunity for guided yoga, hikes, meditations, 2 sound baths & a mindful craft. While we have  prepared activities for our group to connect with each other, you can also expect independent time to enjoy pages of your book, laying in the hammock or decompressing in the hot tub. We will honor both the inner connection through meditation & journaling prompts as well as social connection through our nature scavenger hunt & other group activities. 

We'd love to connect with you.

We are hoping for a group of adventure seekers to join us. If you enjoy time in nature, connecting with your body & mind through movement & stillness, sound & silence, art & food, then this might be a good fit. We suggest having your own hiking boots/shoes & yoga mat for the weekend. If you need supplies you can always reach out or indicate on your intake form.

"An upstate retreat is exactly what this teacher looks forward to every fall. I'm excited for the opportunity to guide our first retreat together, while sharing so much of what we love. I look forward to  the grounding practices of listening to the sounds in nature, smelling the crisp fall air, observing the colors of autumn, & tasting local harvest while moving & breathing with people who understand us. Yoga & meditation brought Eric & I together, but life has helped us navigate the trails unmarked. I can't wait to connect the group with some of tools that have helped us orient with our centers..hiking & meditation, sound & silence, art & yoga, eating & breathing. It's going to be magnificent."

"When I'm in the woods I love the ability to totally disconnect and fully focus on recharging. I’m looking forward to connecting with the people who are joining us this weekend away. I want people to be ready for a balance of rest relaxation and adventure. Fall is a time to slow down and reflect as the year comes to end, while still trying to be present enough to make some memories."

Scott McDonald

CONSCIOUS COOK

Scott is an environmental guardian, mindful chef & breathwork facilitator. He uses his culinary experience & his knowledge of regenerative farming to guide people back to an integral form of nourishment. Becoming part of a collective symbiosis, his approach to nutrition is much more than simply eating properly. The body is a complete ecosystem, not just an isolated event. He wishes to share this knowledge for us all to heal our bodies on a cellular level and to revive Pachamama. 

Curiosity is expected around here.

  • 41+ or more days before the retreat (on & before 9/31): 100% of your balance will be returned with the exception of your original $400 deposit 
  • 31-40 days before the retreat (10/10-10/1): 50% of your balance will be returned with he exception of your original $400 deposit*
  • 0-30 days before the retreat (on & after 10/11): no refund* 


*unless you can get someone to fill your spot. 

Your nonrefundable $400 deposit will not be refunded. 


Yes. You can share the Master Room or King room for an additional $400. That will help to cover costs of food, supplies, gifts, etc. Must indicate on intake form. 


You will complete an intake form upon booking. 


Arrival Friday between 12-2pm or between 3:30-5:30pm. 

Departure Sunday 10:30am. 


If special accommodations need to be made, please indicate on intake form. 


Your hosts will be in touch upon booking. If you have specific questions you can always reach out to your hosts.
